Final year Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) student at the University of Hertfordshire. Throughout my undergraduate degree I have conducted myself as the leader for all the group work. I was also the group leader for the ITMB project recently, which represented the University at ITMB degree’s Southern Event. We pitched to employers, graduates and placement students on an idea of getting children and more women in IT/Computing. I have completed the Chartered Management Institute Level 3 First Line Management course, which has improved my basic business management skills and has presented me with an extra qualification. Learning outcomes of the course: ✪ understand the role of the first line manage. ✪ understand stakeholders and their needs and be able to meet those needs. ✪ understand the need to develop and maintain working relationships. ✪ be able to manage team performance. I am interested in a career management consulting and would like to gain experience in the field before pursuing MBA.
